Manage profile, language and team

Keep account details current and give each teammate the right access level.

Updated 7 August 2026

Owner and members do not administer the account the same way

The owner manages identity, language, security, subscription and seats. A team member signs in with their own email and password but remains linked to the owner account, its data and limits.

The client interface offers only French and English, with their flags. This does not prevent the assistant using more languages in localized content.

Seat rule
Only active members consume seats. A zero limit means team access is not included; a missing limit may be treated as unlimited according to plan.

Update owner profile

Under Settings, review identity, email address and account image.

  1. First and last name

Use the responsible person’s identity. A team should not bypass seats by sharing a generic name and owner password.

  2. Owner email

It is used for sign-in, recovery and optional 2FA. Before changing it, verify access to the new inbox and any linked Google flow.

  3. Password

Change it to a unique, long secret. Security form requests current password where needed; a member cannot change owner security.

Change client-area language

Setting accepts only fr or en and updates the session.

  • French

Select the French flag and save. Help-centre and support links then use /fr where available.

  • English

Select the UK flag. The change affects interface, not knowledge sources or already authored visitor messages.

  • Member language

A member uses account and session context. Check rendering after signing in with the member login rather than owner session.

Create and administer members

The list supports search, role/status filters, creation, editing, activation and deletion.

  1. Unique email and initial password

Email must belong neither to owner nor another member. Initial password has at least eight characters and should be sent through a safe channel.

  2. Admin or agent

Assign admin to people configuring account and agent to those handling conversations. Apply least privilege and review roles regularly.

  3. Activate within limit

Creating an inactive member may be possible without a free seat; activation is blocked when active members reach plan capacity.

  4. Deactivate or delete

Deactivate immediately on departure to cut access while keeping record. Delete only according to audit and retention policy.

Quarterly access review

Compare Wavize list with actually authorized staff.

  • Active members — Each person is still present and uses their own login.
  • Minimum roles — No agent retains unnecessary admin role.
  • Consistent seats — Usage and limit match displayed plan.
