Connect WooCommerce
Install the official connector, authorize Wavize from WordPress and follow the first automatic index.
Updated 19 August 2026The Wavize connector is the native WooCommerce flow
The connector links the store to the correct Wavize account from WordPress administration. It installs the widget, prepares read-only authorisation and starts published catalogue synchronisation without asking the merchant for technical configuration.
The commerce catalogue remains separate from editorial knowledge content. Products, prices, variants and links shown by the e-commerce journey come from the synchronised store; documents and pages support the assistant’s general answers.
Recommended flow
Install the official connector, select “Connect Wavize”, complete authorisation and allow the first index to finish.
Install the connector on the correct store
Start from the WordPress administration actually used by the public site.
Official extension
Download the Wavize package from the source provided in your account, then open Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Do not install a copy obtained from a third party.
Activation
Activate the plugin and confirm WooCommerce > Wavize appears. A present but inactive plugin cannot publish the widget or synchronise the catalogue.
Correct environment
Check the displayed domain before continuing. Activation on staging does not automatically connect the public store and must not replace its connection.
Complete guided authorisation
The “Connect Wavize” button opens the intended flow between the store and Wavize.
Wavize account
Sign in with the account that should own this store. If several accounts exist, check the company name before confirming to avoid connecting the wrong workspace.
Read-only permissions
Review the WooCommerce screen and approve only the permissions presented by the connector. They cover the catalogue and queries required for visitor-requested tracking, without changing products or orders.
Complete return
Let the browser return to the Wavize connector page. Closing the tab during redirect may leave authorisation incomplete; simply run “Connect Wavize” again.
Follow automatic activation
A validated connection starts the expected operations without a second data-entry step.
Connected status
The connector page should display the linked account and store. If status does not change after returning, refresh once and resume authorisation rather than installing multiple copies.
Widget published
The connector adds widget loading to the store. Then open a public page in a private window to verify its appearance, colour and authorised domain.
First index
Wavize progressively retrieves published products, variants, prices and public pages. Follow the displayed status before treating a missing product as an answer defect.
Check results without disrupting the store
Checks are read-only and must not create or modify WooCommerce content.
Synchronised products
Search the widget for a few already-published products and check name, price, image, variant and destination. A draft, private or unavailable product may legitimately be absent.
Protected tracking
Tracking always requires a reference and its associated email. A mismatch returns a neutral answer: it proves neither the existence nor absence of another customer’s order.
Ongoing synchronisation
After a catalogue change, let the synchronisation cycle complete, then reload the conversation. Keep the time, product and displayed status if you need help.
Sustainable operation
Keep one commerce connection active and disconnect it from the module when the store should no longer feed Wavize.
- Read only — The native flow changes neither products nor orders.
- Controlled disconnection — Disconnecting stops new synchronisations and removes dedicated access.
- Contextual diagnosis — Provide domain, time and displayed status, never unredacted personal order data.
